COMPANY MEMBERS

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Keon Thoulouis is a graduate of The Juillard School. Mr. Thoulouis, first began his dance training at age 15. He was part of a small neighborhood dance ensemble entitled, Honey Plus One; Keon Thoulouis, was the plus one. It was under the beloved direction, of the departed, Ms Velda Honeywell.  He then furthered his dance training at Fiorello La Guardia, The High School of Music and Art and the Performing Arts. At the same time, he attended Alvin Ailey American Dance Center on scholarship, and was a second level Arts Recognition recipient. Mr. Thoulouis, had the thankful opportunity of working with prestigious teachers and notable choreographers that include: Aubrey Lynch, Brian Thomas, Bridget Moore, Camille A Brown, Carl Paris, Denise Jefferson, Earl Mosley, Elena Commendador, Jermaine Brown, Kevin Wynn, Linda Kent, Mathew Rushing, Ronald K. Brown, Steve Rooks, and Ms Sylvia Water.  Commercially, he performed with recording artist, Tamia; in addition, Mr. Thoulouis appeared in the televised Michael Jackson 30th anniversary special, and danced with the King of Pop himself, along with, Mya, Usher, Jill Scott, Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox and Al Jarreau.

Angelique Cruz originally is a native of New York. Ms. Cruz, previously trained in various dance genres at Performers Edge Dance Academy, under the direction of Stefanie Salaman. She continued her studies, and graduated with a BFA. from  Long Island University in 2010. This allowed her to gain the opportunity to work with artists such as Khaleah London, Michael Leon Thomas, Desmond Richardson, Patricia Kenny Reilly, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and Pilobolus.

Mikelle Rindflish is a native of Dallas, Texas where she began her training at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and Texas Ballet Theater. In 2012, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance from Point Park University. She has had the great opportunity to perform in works by Martha Graham, Ohad Naharin, Sidra Bell, Robert Battle, Jessica Lang, and Kate Skarpetowska to name a few. The Wall Street Journal noted the "...feminine beauty and command of Point Park University's Mikelle Rindflish at the haunting center of Graham's 'Heretic' (1929)." Ms. Rindflish, dances with White Wave Young Soon Kim Dance Company, and enjoying her journey as a freelance dance artist in New York City,

Liu Mo was born in China.  He graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, the most prestigious institution for the study of Classical Chinese Dance.  In China, Liu won several awards for his dancing, including the 8th Peach and Plum Cup competition, the most respected national dance competition in China.  After graduation, he received the invitation to be an instructor and supervisor at the Beijing Dance Academy.   Currently Liu resides and dances in Philadelphia while, also, performing with professional contemporary dance companies in New York City.

Juri Nishio was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and graduated from Nihon University of Art with a degree in drama.  Her dance journey began in 2000 when Ms. Nishio visited Senegal, and participated in a workshop with the family of the renowned drummer Doudou N'Diaye Rose. She came to New York City  in 2003 to investigate contemporary African Dance forms, and in 2006, completed the International Student Independent Study program at The Ailey School. Ms. Nishio performed works choreographed by Germain Acgoney, Nora Chipaumire, Camille A Brown, the Urban Bush Women Apprenticeship program, M'WORD! (N'Bewe Escobar), INSPIRIT, a dance company (Christal N Brown), and Maimouna Keita School of African Dance (Marie Basse Wiles). She is currently dancing with Vangeline Theater.  She has presented her solo works at Laguardia Community College, Daibosatsu Zendo Kongo-ji, Charles Moore Dance Theater, Spring Field College, Trinity College, CRS, The Ailey School, Bowery Poetry Club and Hunter College.
